Multiple Grammy-nominee Northern Cree is hosting this weekend at the Chasing the Sun Pow-Wow at the Jobing.Com Arena in Glendale, Arizona. It’s fitting that this famed Canadian drum should be host Northern drum in the home of the Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona’s hockey team. At the recent Grammy Awards Northern Cree was a finalist for Best Native American Album for True Blue. Canyon Records producer Stephen Butler is on site recording material for a “Best of Northern Cree” album.
