New Release: No More Lies
Glen Ahhaitty comes from the Kiowa, Comanche and Cherokee peoples and has been singing at Pow-Wows since the early 1970s. In No More Lies Glen’s Oklahoma-style Round Dance songs are poignant and honest tales of his struggles with substance abuse, his journey towards healing, and his love for his family. To hear Glen’s story in his own words, listen his revealing podcast. My Path, the last track from the album, sums up Glen’s outlook on life:
Fighting my way on down the road.
down on my luck and out of control.
Living life with ups and downs
kept me spun around.
But with hope and faith no longer will I hesitate
to find the path to heaven’s gate.
