The horse has been central to the lives of Native Americans for centuries. In their newest release, Horses Are Our Journey, Jay Begaye (Diné) and his daughter Tiinesha (Similkameen-Diné) express the importance of this heritage, their affection for their horses and honor them with special horse songs. This talented father-daughter team performs a variety of songs in traditional Navajo style, Canadian Round Dance and Pow-Wow.
